It's been awhile...

sorry my Internet friends.  I have not been as diligent in updating as I would have liked to have been.

I will do better going forward!!

Exciting news!  I made my own homemade soup. Well, Kind of...

I used Chicken Broth (hey, that's only cheating a little!!)added some fresh veggies such as mushrooms, carrots, celery.  Then I added chicken breast.  It simmered for an hour- I added a splash of this and a splash of that.
(Okay, so this isn't the soup I made...the picture turned out terrible...but this looks just like it, pinky promise!)
I gotta say, it turned out DELECTABLE!!  Everyone talks about making their own soup but it sounds so hard!  It's all lies!  It's easy- I made a ton and I can take it to work all week with sandwiches, crackers, bread chunks, etc!!

I've hit the jackpot!

Oh, and for all of you crafters out there...I have found a secret organizational tool that looks great and is very practical!

Amazing!!!!

til next time, which shall be soon...

omg...SHOES!

If you haven't seen it, watch OMG, shoes!  Wait until about 2:00 in.
That's how I feel when I look at this picture
I wouldn't necessarily say I have too many shoes...
my hubby adamantly disagrees.

I decided to organize them today.
If you head to any local superstore you can get large clear totes.  I have 4 of them.
I organized into four categories:

Boots.  I didn't take a picture because it was overflowing...(an obsession, perhaps?)
Heels came next.

Can't live without my flats!!
and finally...my summer shoes!  Flip flops, sandals, and Gladiators!!

So if you're looking for an inexpensive way to keep close to 100 pairs of shoes (I refused to count mine- denial is bliss sometimes!)  in a small space, this is the way to go!  For about $20 you can organize your closet, and hey, if it makes your life easier finding shoes in the morning- that's just an added bonus!
